about

Horror Disco. Two words that sum up perfectly the musical experience offered by Parisian duo IV, somewhere between Keith Emerson's prog-rock and the death disco of John Carpenter & Alan Howarth. Chromatic vertigo, obsessive bass lines, hallucinatory echoes.. a sonic trip to danceable nightmares land. IV take us here on a snowy escapade, nocturnal and solitary (Alaska), there to the macabre great north zombies ball (Doppelganger), but the beast is never far, lurking in the shadow. As a bonus to complete this EP, Japanese synth-pop outfit Crystal (Institubes) offer an avant-garde remix of Alaska.
